Our upcoming meeting is all about stress!
Why? Because students with reading difficulty often experience lots of stress as they navigate their learning difference!
This month’s expert speaker, Dr. Nicholas Lofthouse, will discuss anxiety, stress and methods for handling these with our children with dyslexia and reading difficulties. The program is for adults and it is ideal for children 8 years and older. January 15, 6:30 p.m. Heritage Elementary, 679 Lewis Center Road in Lewis Center.
As always, please reach out and bring a friend and your child’s teachers/intervention specialist.
ODN is for families and kids dealing with dyslexia or reading difficulties. Each month, we host informational sessions and share information so that parents can network and be better informed. ODN meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Elementary. Our meetings are open to parents and kids. ODN welcomes educators, too!
